Description
Seeking an experienced Stock Room Clerk/Attendance for a short-term, 4 Month contract with a prescription eyeglass/contact lens retail company. Must have experience working with inventory and should have basic data entry skills.
An updated resume is required.
You will need to participate in a pre-screening interview by phone with a recruiter who will then forward your information to the hiring manager. Information like reason for small gaps in employment, achieved targets in previous jobs, past ways you handled difficult situations on the job, and references.
Work hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm
*Primary Duties*
-Tag incoming work
-Pick out appropriate lenses to fulfill each Rx
-Send work to designated areas
Secondary Duties
-Put new stock in correct inventory location
-Communicate time delays to appropriate persons
-Assist in cycle counts when necessary
** Job Requirements:
1+ years experience working in a stockroom
Updated simple Resume with education and previous tasks/accomplishments listed
High School Diploma
Local candidates only (no remote work available)
Ability and knowledge to do the duties described above
Ability to work as a TEAM or independently w/o supervision
Basic math and ability to read, write, and speak English well
US Citizen or Green Card holder, acceptable work Visa
No more than 6 months gap in employment history
