Krazan & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Entry Level Field Technician-Construction Safety & Inspection to join our Tacoma, WA office. No experience needed. This position is ideal for candidates interested in advancing their career in the Geotechnical and Construction Observation/Materials Testing Field. We are looking for a candidate who have a proven track record, strong work-ethic with a professional attitude. A candidate with construction or soil & concrete experience is a plus. Responsibilities Include: Performing QA/QC field observations while work is in progress following design reports and documents, collecting samples using a gauge to determine moisture density content, and delivering samples for laboratory testing. During the testing and observation process, prepare accurate and detailed documentation and submit daily for review. Position Requirements: Physically able to regularly lift and /or move up to 75 lbs. Must be insurable under company vehicle policy. The following Certifications OR ability to obtain - American Concrete Institute (ACI) - Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and obtain certifications through company provided in-house training and mentoring.
