Description
The Cleaning Technician is responsible for providing thorough cleaning and sanitizing services to all of our restaurant locations Essential Functions and Key Position Accountabilities -Properly clean, sanitize and maintain restaurant equipment -Clean and disinfect common areas as assigned -Clean walls, floors, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills -Clean and polish stainless steel surfaces -Dust fixtures, ledges and shelves -Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas -Report maintenance concerns to facilities team -Secure restaurant locations and ensure the building is locked/unlocked as required -Ensure security of company assets while on-site -Ability to work non-business hours including nights and weekends -Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures/laws and adhere to safe work practices. -Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time -Adapts to changes in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new processes -Support special projects and other designated activities, as assigned. -Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by Manager Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION -High School Diploma in a related field or equivalent LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION -Must have valid Washington State Driver’s License and pass DMV check EXPERIENCE -This position prefers at least one year of facility maintenance or janitorial experience in a restaurant environment KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES -Communication -Requires ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. -Ability to follow appropriate communication channels. -Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -Team Building/Interpersonal Skills -Demonstrates competency by maintaining positive, collaborative, and constructive interpersonal relationships. -Understands and practices the principles of effective teamwork. -Work Prioritization/Flexibility/Adaptability -Demonstrates ability to prioritize work assignments and meet productivity and quality standards. -Adapts easily to changes in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new procedures. -Effective organizational and analytical skills. -Computer/Office Skills -Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers and fax machines. -Intermediate proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook required. -Standard keyboarding skills Taco Time NW is an Equal Opportunity Employer
