Teufel Landscape is looking to hire an experienced carpenter to join our team. We are a landscaping construction and maintenance company. We have recently acquired a lot more outdoor carpentry work and we are looking for someone with the expertise to assist with the workload. You will be working on a wide range of projects. Responsibilities · Take direction from Supervisor · Self-perform and work on commercial projects · Recognize potential problems with the project and timely request additional guidance and assistance · Answer most questions regarding the project and direct more specific or financial questions to Supervisor · Unload equipment, tools, and supplies from vehicle to job site · Complete job tasks assigned by Supervisor · Demonstrate understanding and proper use of basic tools · Construct appropriate containment for construction dust, dirt, and airborne contaminant in working areas · Knowledge of cladding, patios, benches, and wood on pedestal installations is a plus! · Use appropriate lifting techniques and lifting equipment when moving customers contents · Cleaning · Remove and dispose of debris Qualifications 2-3 years of Carpentry Experience Valid Driver’s License Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening Physical Demands Frequent lifting of more than 50 lbs Comfortable with heights Access and mobility to tight spaces Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $35-$40 per hour DOE Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Parental leave Retirement plan Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Carpentry: 2-3 years (Required) Those interested in the position can reach me at (206)940-5254.
