DUMP TRUCK DRIVER/LABORER NEEDED Local Demolition Company is in need of an experienced end dump truck driver/laborer. JOB DESCRIPTION: Driver duties involve the operation on an end dump truck to transport and dump materials such as rock, asphalt or other materials as needed. Laborer duties involve the occasional shoveling and raking materials and site clean-up. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform daily truck equipment inspections and all required safety equipment including, but not limited to tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water, etc. before each shift to assure equipment is safe for usage. • Completes written daily report as required • Submits request for repairs • Maintains truck logs or time recordings as required by state, federal and company policies and regulations. • Operate truck safely to and from project destinations • Pulls levers or turn crank to tilt body and dump contents • Move hand and foot controls for truck movement forward and backward and to loosen and dump material • Perform emergency roadside repairs • Perform post trip vehicle inspections noting any defects or deficiencies in writing • Help with site clean up • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS • Class A commercial driver license • Current medical examination • Ability to maintain a clean driving record • 1+ year experience • Ability to comprehend instructions • Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. • Ability to solve problems SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Ability to work independently • Ability to work extended periods of time in adverse weather conditions • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays.
