Female vocalist for post-punk psychedelic project

Guitarist and bassist steeped in psychedelia and post-punk are looking for a non-traditional female vocalist. Right now we're just doing some informal recording, but we're hoping to do some live shows in the near future. We've got a trancey sound, along the lines of the Velvet Underground, Spacemen 3, and Hawkwind. Krautrock and shoegaze influences as well. You could sound dreamy and mysterious, like Bilinda Butcher (My Bloody Valentine), Kendra Smith or Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star). Or you could have a bit of edge to your voice (i.e. all of the female-fronted British punk bands). Great if you can carry a tune. Added plus if you've got a notebook full of interesting lyrics.
