Hello All, Christy is a blues/jazz informed singer-songwriter, I am an aspiring songwriter/producer. Currently, the general vibe is to start with a guitar riff, lay down some sultry vocals, and build up a track with some contemporary-sounding production ie programmed drums, synthy textures, effect automation, etc. Eclectic Electric-Indie-Jazz-Pop? Idk. Influences: Sylvan Esso, Feist, Hiatus Kaiyote, Billie Eilish, Spill Tab. We are looking to form a band for performing and co-writing. Our immediate goal is to start performing over the summer and focus on recording original music for release across all platforms, as well as licensing/syncing. We are in it for the long haul. We meet weekly to write and record, and/or do homework on the business side of things. We are looking for: guitar, drums/percussion, keys/synth, bass/upright, and maybe a producer, as well. We are looking for people who have an ear for songwriting and composition, who care most about what serves the song rather than their own ego, and who can give/take constructive feedback in a respectful, egalitarian collaboration. Ultimately, what is most important is that we get along, are equally committed, and share a professional mindset. We want to grow with the right people.
