Max is an 11-month-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback mix in need of a good home. He’s about 45 pounds, so he’s on the small side for his primary breed. His original mom had to give him away due to some issues with her housing. He is a sweet, affectionate, and teachable young boy who is in need of some attention and room to run. We would love to keep him, but we already have as many dogs as we can handle long term.
He’s happy, energetic, housebroken, and gets along well with other dogs. He could benefit from being with someone willing to spend some time with him on learning standard commands and leash training. We are working with him every day, but haven’t had him very long. He’s very affectionate and eager to please - will make a great family dog!
Due to multiple issues, we will only consider prospective pet parents who are able to drive or otherwise pick him up in Yuma. He’s great in cars, a sweet little guy in general. Dog ownership is a big commitment and he deserves someone who is willing and able give him a forever home.
