The Company and Product: Scout is a new hardware and software product designed to make filming sports with your phone easy, so you can save the moments that matter, while still enjoying the game. The wireless remote is paired with a motorized phone mount and allows you to record the full event, plus save highlights with a single remote click, eliminating post-game editing. The iPhone app (future Android release coming soon) gives the user the ability to auto-program camera positions to make panning and zooming easier than ever. The user will purchase a one-time hardware package (Scout bot, phone mount, remote) and will enroll in a monthly (or annual) subscription to unlock access to the software application. The Position: The sales representative will be responsible for selling the initial hardware package and signing users up for monthly subscriptions during Hoopfest (June 25-26) with the potential for an extended sales role beyond the special event weekend. The representative is expected to use his/her knowledge of the market and provide demonstrations and implement sales and marketing tactics to gain new customers. Representative Qualifications and Specifications: - Success and goal-oriented, driven by the commission potential of sales - Self-starter – need to be proactive and persistent in developing new business - Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills - Successful track record of interaction with customers - Able to close business through presentations tailored to the customer/audience needs - Basic understanding and interest in mobile applications and technology with the ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate basic instructions to a potential end-user/buyer - Interest and/or experience in youth/amateur sports is a bonus - Ability to attend special events and network with sports leagues to target consumer groups - Has a flexible schedule that enables them to attend events (i.e., sports tournaments, event centers, recreation facilities, etc.) to sell on-site to potential new users Earnings: - Uncapped earning potential with a generous commission strategy. The commission will be paid to the sales representative for new sales when they close. - This is a commission-only position for the special event weekend (June 25-26) in Spokane, WA with the potential for an extended sales role beyond the special event. This position is designed for individuals wanting to add additional revenue channels to their existing lifestyle, it is not a full-time position. - We believe a motivated salesperson could make $50 per hour during the special event weekend (selling one unit per hour). The initial hardware package cost to consumers is $195 with reps receiving $50 per hardware package sold. Job Types: Temporary, Contract
