Rehoming my lovely Banjo. 1 and a half year old Coonhound mix. Not fixed, but before rehoming you need to agree to fix him AFTER his 2nd birthday. His birthday is November 25, 2020. Good with other dogs, unless they react to him. Cautious of new people, has nipped at 2 people while he’s leashed. He has some leash reactivity after seeing me and my other dog get attacked while he was tied away. More cautious of men, and has never nipped at women before, or kids.. He’s an escape artist and will not listen to you if you chase him down the street. He stays relatively close and will jump into the car, but thinks it’s a game. Our fence is not secure and I’m worried about him getting hit by a car. Never been homed with cats, but trees them outside, lol. He’s definitely a coonie. He’d make a great hunting hound. He knows sit, lay down, down, off, up, shake, speak, and can balance treats on his nose(sometimes lol) he’s very very smart and sweet. Inside he’s a great dog, but when he gets out, he loses all his manners. He’ll stay out of the kitchen when told, and not go somewhere if you say ah ah. He mostly just lays around or plays with a ball or the other dogs. He’s a great boy, I’d love him to go somewhere with other dogs. Please contact me for more information.
