This is to make sure that three body temperature is correct so they grow at the right rate and also to digest there food properly. They are hand reared on Tropicana hand rearing mix and all our babies are spoon fed. We do not crop feed. I believe that the first 12 weeks is the most important part of any parrots life not only feeding them but also nurturing and handling them so they are part of the family. At around 6 weeks they come out of the brooder in the day time and go into a training cage where they can observe activity around them. And then back into the brooders at night for sleep.
