5 month old puppy needs rehoming

Hi there. I have a male 5 month old puppy to rehome. My husband brought him home for our autistic son, but my son turned out to be allergic. He is a terrier mix, very energetic and loving. We will be sad to see him go, but my son's quality of life is my first priority. I don't want to surrender him over to an animal shelter, but if I can't find a forever home for this sweetheart, I'll have no choice. I am not asking for a rehoming fee, just someone who is willing to love and care for him. He is NOT neutered. He does come with a small kennel and a medium sized training pen, leash, harness and food/water bowls.
