Interviews and job offers will be made on the spot! RainSweet is a recognized leader in the supply of premium fruits and vegetables. Our focus during peak season (May-September) is individually quick frozen (IQF) product. AVAILABLE POSITIONS: Line Lead- This position is responsible for the performance of a part of a production line, its procedures and employees. Personnel Office Assistants: This position helps the personnel office with daily duties while servicing employees with their needs. Normally this position handles paperwork and employee documents that may contain private information. Use of computers. Finished Inspector – This position is responsible for inspecting all product being processed on the processing line. Raw Inspector – This position is responsible for sorting product on the processing line by removing the substandard product as defined by quality assurance standards and customer specifications. Tagger – This position places pallet tags on the product and accounts for all finished product. This position requires the use of computers and scanners. Ticket issuer - This position accounts for all the product going into the production line through the use of computers and scanners. Case Liner – This position places a plastic liner in cases, barrels, or totes. Case Maker – This position is responsible for assembling and preparing cases for product packaging by inspecting case/pallet/drum to ensure it is in good condition and inserting plastic liners as needed. Forklift Driver - This position will feed product to lines in designated work areas to ensure continued workflow, and move, stack, and/or transport product safely among several designated work areas. Sanitation - This position is responsible for cleaning & sanitation of food processing equipment and facilities. Machine Operator - This position is responsible for setup, operation, and light maintenance of IQF production processing equipment. QC Technician - This position conducts inspection, evaluation, and grading of raw or finished products. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: · Must be at least 16 years old. · Must possess manual dexterity. - Some positions require the use of computers and peripherals. · Must possess good vision and ability to distinguish colors. · Must be able to stand for a long period of time. · Must be able to tolerate cold/hot temperatures. · Must be able to tolerate strong odors. · Must be able to follow instruction. · Observes all safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). · Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of these jobs. These positions typically spend about 100% of time in a production environment. The majority of the time spent performing the duties of these jobs are spent standing and/or walking near a moving conveyor belt. While performing these jobs, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and to use hands to finger, handle or feel and see objects in a productive environment. These positions require good manual dexterity skills. The employee performing these jobs must be able to stand, bend, pull, kneel, and squat frequently and have the ability to lift 10 to 40 lbs. Employee must be able to work 8-12 hours per day, 5-7 days a week. Equipment Used: Good Manufacturing Practices equipment, general safety gear.
