Description
Re-homing my 3 year old Rottweiler mix. He is fully house trained. He knows basic commands: sit, lay down, up, stand, wait and place. When properly introduced he gets along with both other dogs and cats. He is cuddly and loves to be where his people are. He is not food aggressive or possessive over toys. You can take anything out of his mouth. He's the best walking companion, but I do use a gentle leader. I am re-homing because I am unable to keep him from fence fighting with the neighbors dogs. I am also expecting and do not trust him with small children. I am a small human (5'1" and petite) and he listens to me the most between my husband and I so I think he could potentially be okay with teens, but they would have to be firm and consistent. Something that isn't a vice, but just good to know, is that it took him about 3 months to adjust to being with my husband and I. During that time when he would wake from a nap he would pose and growl at anyone nearby. He was able to be talked down and never bit us, but it was intimidating and required a lot of patience and one on one training to help him become secure in the new relationship. So keep that in mind when inquiring. He receives adantix monthly and is up to date on all vaccinations including kennel cough. However, his rabies booster is due at the end of this month. Please text with any questions. Free to good home.
