Martis Camp Club, Tahoe’s premier private community and golf club, is seeking a full-time, year-round Maintenance Technician to join the Building Maintenance team. Under minimal supervision, Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of work in the advanced maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment, furniture, pools and vehicles. Reports to the Building Maintenance Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, painting, and pool maintenance • Repair and treat structures such as floors, showers, sinks, walls, roofs, furniture, and carpets • Troubleshooting, repairs and adjustments on doors, door locks, cabinets, desks, kitchen equipment, pool water and pool equipment, fences, lighting, etc. • Report malfunctions to the Building Maintenance Manager for coordination on appropriate corrective action to take, and may assist in obtaining quotes for repair work • May be asked to accompany outside vendors who are on site to make needed repairs • Assist in moving furniture and equipment at all facilities that is necessary for the Club to conduct special events • As part of the Ambassador support team, Technicians may be asked to assist with special projects periodically that originate in other departments, open and close buildings, monitor alarm systems, and be familiar with fire sprinkler systems at all facilities • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana) • Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral form, maintain work logs, pool records and service requests, and maintain cooperative working relationships with any Ambassador, department, or member that they come in contact with during the course of their work assignments • Previous maintenance experience • Must be over 21 with a clean DMV record to drive company vehicles Physical Requirements: • Ability to grip, carry, and maneuver hand and power tools • Ability to climb ladders • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours at a time. • Ability to bend, twist, and kneel frequently, with or without equipment in hand • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds in several forms including boxes, tools, equipment, and materials Benefits & Perks: • Competitive pay • Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues up to 96 hours per year • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance • Dependent Care Flex Spending account • 529 College Savings account • Annual Fitness bonus • 401(k) with employer match up to 7% of compensation • Retail discounts in Spa and Golf • Limited access to some Club amenities (golf course, tennis courts) • Free Ambassador Golf and Tennis Clinics • Annual Ambassador Holiday Party • Annual Ambassador End of Season Party • Participation in Kazoo recognition program • Free Flu shot (every October) Apply online at: No phone calls or solicitations, please.
