We are excited to have Dawn the Tour Guide and Scott Smiley lead us on a private tour of Georgetown for our next Blue Star Walking Welcome event. Space is limited so sign up today! Come fall under the spell of the distinctive corner of The District of Columbia known as Georgetown. Stroll the charming streets of the district's oldest neighborhood where a thriving African American community, high society, foreign dignitaries, politicians, and spies have all called home. As we explore the area you will hear tales of Georgetown's original citizens, events from the Civil War, and see a few of the places that Kennedy family members once called home.
