On Friday, June 24, join us to celebrate the release of 826 Boston's Youth Literary Advisory Board's latest book, This Side Of The Hill: Poetic Maps Of Our Neighborhood.
What: Celebration for This Side Of The Hill: Poetic Maps Of Our NeighborhoodWhen: Friday, June 24, 4:00 PMWhere: Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library, Nubian Square, 149 Dudley StreetAt the celebration, students will read personal poetry and narratives about their colorful, complicated, and changing Boston neighborhoods. Their pieces explore issues of spatial justice, gentrification, and what it means to call a place home.
This event is free and open to the public. Guests must RSVP to attend.
