Living in Portland, we are blessed with so much access to nature within our city. This plant walk, we will be getting together to get to know the lovely Kelley Point Park. Together, we will identify and notice medicinal plants growing in this small ecosystem, just off the river, and see how that plays a part in the plant life. You will learn basic plant identification skills, some botany terms, info about native and naturalized edible and medicinal plants, and more! Building relationships with the plants in one focused area is something we can take with us, when we familiarize ourselves with plants growing in our bioregion it can be used as a fun and reassuring grounding tool!
This walk is especially geared towards all levels of herbalists! No experience required.
Please make sure to buy a ticket for each adult attending. Thanks!
