Get crafty at The Shops at Midtown Miami, 3401 North Miami Avenue, this summer with a series of interactive art activities led by the Miami Children’s Museum. Join us on Saturday, June 25 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The activities will take place at the center’s M Park located near West Elm and Nordstrom Rack. Here's a description of the crafts for June 25 Texture Mosaics and Geometric Colors Texture Mosaics: Inspired by Art Nouveau architecture, this activity engages children with mosaic tiles and black sand to design colorful mosaics. Children will experiment with the art element of texture to create a colorful tactile artwork. Geometric Colors: Inspired by Abstract Art, this activity engages children with tissue paper shapes and contact paper to create a geometric artwork.
