Pride Opportunity Developers (The POD Group) announces its Northfest of Ideas - Northside Lafayette Economic Development Townhall set for June 30, 2022 from 6pm until 8pm. The location for the event will be the Clifton Chenier Center. The discussion will center around economic development on the Northside of Lafayette. The townhall will bring together political and community leaders for an honest, forward-thinking discussion centered on finding pathways to helping move North Lafayette forward in an equitable and thoughtful way for the benefit of the entire City and Parish. The POD Group will also announce their Northgate Mall redesign competition. The competition will be open to students and professionals, working individually or in teams, who will reimagine a new footprint for the area. Winning entries will receive monetary awards and be featured in an exhibition and ceremony. The most compelling and innovative projects may be constructed in a future second phase.
