Doors will be open to all. NO RSVP is needed to attend.
Bishop Kevin Rhoades will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and bless the Chapel at the Our Lady, Patroness of America Center. The Mass will celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration and the First Saturday Devotion.
Pinnacle Celebration Event of the Year
This will be a celebration! Bishop Rhoades, in addition to offering Holy Mass and blessing the Chapel, will be consecrating a new Altar of Sacrifice. And after that we will be celebrating with food and live entertainment.
The Rome City Volunteer Fire Department will be running the grill with food available for purchase at reasonable rates.
Due to the expected large turnout we will have overflow capacity for 400 additional pilgrims in our conference room, welcome center and outdoor tent. This is in addition the chapel capacity of 300. We have also added 200 parking spots of overflow parking.
We pray for a large turnout of pilgrims to give thanks for Bishop Rhoades allowing the establishment of the Our Lady, Patroness of America Center as a recognized pilgrimage site.
There will not be tours on this day.
