Dr. Jerry Davis will be presenting his new perspective on:Understanding Addiction Through the Lens of Trauma and AttachmentThe purpose of this presentation is to introduce both trauma and attachment as prominent contributors to addiction. The presentation will construct a rationale for these contributors and also present therapeutic approaches that can be used in the treatment of addictions.In this seminar, participants willLearn to consider how both trauma and attachment may contribute to addictionLearn how trauma impacts attachment and attachment stylesLearn how addiction creates a false window of toleranceRethink addiction symptoms and the challenge of sobrietyLearn how to apply the treatment of trauma and insecure attachment with clients with addictionFellowship is at 730am. Announcements and devotion will begin at 745am. One  CEU will be provided (for 2022 members or those that purchase a single CEU ticket). Consider joining FCC as a member for a $65 annual fee.  Or, an agency can join for a $225 annual fee.
