Join us Thursday, June 16 , as we commemorate the 157th anniversary of Juneteenth and celebrate the rich heritage of Black communities in Southern Indiana. Keynote Speaker Dr. Deonte Hollowell, Director of the African American Studies program at Spalding University will lead an interactive dialogue and activity about the meaning of Juneteenth and ways communities can commemorate Juneteenth to reflect regional history connected to slavery and Emancipation.
