This special event is for everyone, even though it's part of our Parent Cafe lineup. Introducing NAMI...the National Alliance on Mental IllnessAre you concerned about your child or loved one's mental health? Unsure if they need to seek support or see a pro? This event will help!Teri Latter, Program Director at NAMI Illinois will present a portion of the Mental Health 101 Class offered by NAMI. You will learn to recognize warning signs and how to take steps toward healing. Teri's been there. As a mom of a child with a diagnosed mental health condition, Teri has walked in your shoes. She's helped countless families just like yours, and she's here to help us in Kankakee County. Go ahead and ask her your questions. You'll be glad you did! You'll also get introduced to ProjectSUN, a network for families to navigate the mental health system. We can't wait to meet you and introduce you to other families who can become your support system! Please register with the amount of people you think will join you. We love to have plenty of food!
