Summer Solstice Celebration As we approach the Summer Solstice, Temple Amadora welcomes you once again to share Sacred Space and a Community Celebration in collaboration with Anat Shamash, Co-host and Promoter and Zagreus Wolf, Facilitator. This day-long event will feature an afternoon Tantra Workshop (which is a closed container,) followed by a community Potluck and Solstice Celebration Featuring the Nick-A-Time Band. I am so excited to share this sacred celebration with friends… both old and new. Please consider yourself welcome to join us for one, or both events in this communal celebration. Katarina Amadora of Temple Amadora will be partnering once again with Zagreus Wolf for a Slow Ride/Sacred Art of Flirtation Tantra workshop from 1-3:30 pm. This is a closed container, so please arrive promptly between 12:30 and 1 pm as once we cast the opening circle at 1:15, no one else will be admitted. This Tantra Workshop will be limited to the first 30 registrants, so sign up early! Starting at 4:00, we will transition to more of a celebratory party atmosphere for the Summer Solstice Celebration. Anyone who does not wish to stay for the celebration will bid us adieu as we prepare for the festive evening events, Co-hosted by Anat Shamash. This will be a potluck style gathering, and we encourage everyone to bring something nutritious and delicious to share. There will be a live Rock & Roll band, “Nick-A-Time” starting at 6 pm followed by a sacred Solstice Ritual during the intermission. We will then end the evening with a 2nd set from the "Nick-A-Time" band followed by an indoor acoustic jam for as long as people would like to keep enjoying each other. This will be a more free flow event and you are welcome to arrive at whatever time works for you. Tickets for the afternoon Tantra Workshop will be $30 in advance (or $35 at the door) or $45 including the Solstice Celebration (or $50 at the door.) Tickets for the Solstice Celebration will be $20 in advance or $25 at the door. A limited number of discount tickets are available for those willing to come early for set-up or stay late for cleanup. There will be a cuddle space, a dance floor, conversation, good food and company, and you can even bring your own instruments to jam if you desire. About your hosts: My name is Katarina Amadora and I am an Ordained Priestess as well as being a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Somatica trained Sex and Relationship Coach. Temple Amadora is a space which I have created as part of a long time desire that I have had to create a space where I could nurture community, host events and workshops have a space where I could both teach and host other outstanding teachers. Zagreus Wolf is a visiting facilitator from Austin Texas with whom I have collaborated many times since doing our Tantra training with Sarasa Tantra together in 2017. His playful and heart-centered events are always a delight as they encourage participants to drop into their hearts and experience deep connection with each other. Anat Shamash will be co-hosting and promoting the evening's Summer Solstice Celebration, featuring the Nick-A-Time band, known throughout the Bay Area for their rendition of many Rock 'n Roll Standards and their infectious ability to get people on their feet dancing. Nick-A-Time will feature a 5 piece dance band playing good old Rock N' Roll, R & B, Pop and much more! If coming for the evening Solstice Celebration, please bring a healthy dish to share as well as your favorite beverage. The Tantra workshop will be a sober space; however alcohol may be consumed in moderation for the evening Solstice Celebration. I Hope to see you there and Celebrate together! We will have some heaters and/or fire pits outside, but please dress in layers so you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings in its entirety! Also we encourage you to bring extra outdoor folding chairs as there is limited seating outdoors.
