Your Arlington Last Updated: 03 June 2022 Written by John Guilfoil, Bob Sprague The Woburn Police Department located the body of a missing 73-year-old Arlington resident early Thursday, June 2, with help from its law enforcement partners at Horn Pond. Police Chief Robert Rufo told YourArlington on Friday, June 3, that the deceased is Kenneth V. Larsen of 4 Frost St. On Wednesday, June 1, at about 11:20 p.m., a woman reported that a relative did not return home after what was believed to be a walk in the area of Horn Pond. Multiple Woburn units were dispatched, while K-9 assistance was requested from the Massachusetts State Police. Woburn officers located the man's body Thursday about 12:22 a.m. in the area of the pond's lagoon. As is standard procedure, the death is under investigation by the Woburn Police Department, and State Police Detectives assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney's office. Foul play is not suspected at this time. The Woburn Police Department extends its condolences to the man's family and loved ones, and thanks its first responder partners for their assistance.
