Description

The Place of Healing is designed to address traditional and non-traditional problems faced by women. For up to one year we will provide a comprehensive approach to helping homeless women and children. First, we provide a safe environment. Second, we provide supportive services like counseling, coaching, encouragement, transportation, tutoring, financial planning and life skills. The advanced end of our program helps clients establish independence. Our residents learn to rely on themselves, through educational and employment opportunities. Women who need an extension beyond twelve months are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. This is a necessary service. Miriam's PARS, the Stand Fast Project and the Purely Positive Network are happy to sponsor and support this event. Vendors are welcome! Please purchase a ticket to reserve your space for the event.
