We are excited to bring the short film CONNECT to Charlotte! CONNECT was created/directed by Atlanta independent filmmaker Bobby Huntley and it took almost three years to make. The entire Cast/Crew, Director - Bobby Huntley, and Executive Producer - Ari Rodriguez want to Connect independent filmmakers and film enthusiasts in Charlotte. Our goal is to bring awareness to new Independent Picture House and Charlotte Film Society which have allow us to showcase CONNECT in the Queen City. Connect Film Synopsis: A compelling supernatural socio-political drama with sci-fi elements about Vincent, a young Black male who is struggling with his ability to communicate with the spirits. In a moment of vulnerability, Vincent tells his roommate Monroe in confidence of his gift. Soon it is the talk of the community. But it is not until the killing of yet another Black teen in the community that Vincent feels called and reflects to use his gift.
