Psychedelic Rock/Funk/Fusion/Soul/Americana are my specialty. I melt faces into happy places. I’m looking for a band to join, or other musicians to play with who have their shit together. Im 43 years old and have been playing and studying for over 30 years. My style is somewhere in the realm of Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa and Greg Allman. I’m listening to Khruangbin, Monophonic, Black Pumas and Tommy Guerrero a lot, as well as Parliament, Sly Stone, Fela Kuti, and lots of retro funk and soul. I’m dedicated, easy going, show up on time, and have high end professional gear. I don’t drink or use drugs (pot sometimes but not usually when rehearsing). I’m not looking for new players or folks who are “just getting back into it”. I’m looking for players who know their instruments well, know some theory, and can listen and build off of eachother. Im down to write and play originals, as well as dial covers to get us gigging fast. Let’s put a funking rock and roll band together!
