Join us in ceremony on Sunday June 19th to honor the longest day of the year and welcome in the vibrancy of Summer with ecstatic dance, art and play. We are so excited to share this artwork in progress with you for each Earth Activation this year, The Spring Equinox + The Summer Solstice + The Fall Equinox + The Winter Solstice. Each celebration will include a group movement and paint play with watercolor on a very large piece of canvas. As the unique expressions of those attending and dancing each ceremony expands upon the canvas we are all reminded of the beautiful Unity we all share. We are so excited to celebrate with you, grab your tickets to secure your spot. Your ticket gives you access to body painting, a yoga class, ceremonial rituals, a live DJ ecstatic dance, a painting experience with a local Atlanta artist, Reiki healing, Nature healing, drinks and food, and a bonfire. Summer SOULstice CeremonyEcstatic Ceremony was created to provide a space for authentic self expression. Watch P8nt Dry was created to explore authentic expression of moods, emotions, and what that looks like over longer periods of time combining different phases of life. These intentions are fusing together to celebrate the arrival of Summer, the longest day of the year. The Summer Solstice is a day to celebrate and honor the Sun, which provides light, vitality and warmth to all Earth's creatures and the soil. It is also a day to honor the light, vitality and strength within us. It is considered a day of magic. Gathering together in community to explore our unique expression without judgement is so important for the mental health of our collective right now. By tuning into the body, the breath, and our individual creativity while experiencing the natural elements of the Earth we live on; the sun, the land, water and the wind, we can develop a stronger inner voice and intuition. Through this strength we can cultivate a deep knowing and peace so that when uncomfortable and stressful experiences occur we don't take on that energy of outside situations because it is not our inner truth. We can build better systems together and live in a more colorful, joyful and loving world. Come discover your inner strength, let it shine and through your light others may be able to feel persmission to shine as well. Growing up in various cities between Georgia and Florida, Alphonso Whitfield has practiced various art forms throughout his career as an Artist. While focused as a photographer, he uses his eye for photography and love for abstract expression to inspire his work as a painter. Using watercolor, acrylic, and various other mediums, he uses color and space to tell stories and express ideas on the canvas much like what is captured in his photography. Who is The Ecstatic Priestess?Liz Bliss (she/her) is the founder of The Ecstatic Priestess where she serves in ceremony each month to honor the natural cycles and rhythms of nature and the moon. She shares how connecting with the natural cycles of the seasons we can connect deeper to our own cycles and rhythms of change, emotions, transformation, and healing. Through a better understanding of our shared cycles, Liz believes we can all experience our own authentic expression more easily and help create a more colorful, compassionate and joyful world. Liz Bliss also serves as a Level II Certified Reiki Healer and works 1:1 with clients through Reiki, Card Readings, Birth Chart Astrology Readings, Kundalini Yoga and Chakra Consultations.
