NAPERVILLE, IL — A man was stabbed multiple times while he was in the locker room of a gym in the 3000 block of South Route 59 in Naperville Sunday morning.
Police say that around 11:11 a.m. the victim confronted a man who was going through his possessions. The man then used an unknown object to stab the victim in his upper body, according to a news release.
The alleged stabber was last seen heading northbound on foot. Police used K-9s to conduct a search of the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. As of Sunday afternoon, he was in intensive care.
The suspect was described as a Black man in his late 50s, standing about six feet tall and weighing around 175 pounds. Police say he has a dark complexion, short gray and black hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing gray shorts and a dark-colored shirt.
