Join us for a deep dive into cemetery history and headstone symbolism. We will start with early New England headstone symbolism and end with "pioneer" cemeteries found in the west. The first half of the day will be spent at The Extreme History Project headquarters and the second half of the day at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Bozeman. Learn how gravestone symbols give us insight into the deceased’s life, beliefs and story. All materials and lunch will be provided.
