This hurts so much, but Moose needs a FOREVER home as he does not get along with our cats/small animals. I will require veterinary references as well as you to meet him before I make a decision. Location: Columbia, SC Name: Moose, Moosie, Pamplemousse, Mickey Moose. Responds to all. Age: 5 years Breed: 100% Blue Heeler M/F: M Spayed/Neutered/Shots: Neutered/Just out of date on his shots. Will need them redone. Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: NO SMALL ANIMALS, NO KIDS. ONLY PET HOMES!! Aggression or medical issues?: Doesn't get along with other animals. Needs anxiety medicine for long car rides. Reason for rehoming?: Sadly, Moose does not do well with other animals. He needs to be an only pet for someone with no kids. Would you like rescue help?: Possibly. Is there a rehoming fee?: Yes, 100, but completely negotiable for the RIGHT HOME. House/crate trained?: Crate trained. Knows sit, lay down, watch me, crate, and go to bed. Additional info/story: Moose has not been around small children, but has been raised with other dogs. We do not believe he would do well with other dogs/animals in the house and would prefer him to go to someone with no kids as he hasn't been around them before. He is very loved and a big spoiled baby. He doesn't like his feet touched and hates bath time. He's not a very hyper dog, but will use the space he has in the yard to run around. He barks at other dogs while on the leash (this is why we believe he wouldn't do well with other dogs) and is too interested in our cats (we know he wouldn't do well with them).
