My name is Allen and I'm a 63-year-old singer-songwriter. I've been writing and playing in bands (mostly for fun) for more than 50 years. I play mainly guitar, but I've also played bass, and drums in different bands throughout my musical career. On 4/24 I held the first of these jams at Western Gateway Park and it went pretty well. The plan was for everyone to take turns writing the cords of their song on a whiteboard to make it easy for everyone to follow along as everyone takes turns playing something they like. I'm Going to have another one of these Acoustic Jams, at Western Gateway Park on 6/19 at noon. If you're a local Musician and would like to come out and jam some songs with me, let me know I play mostly top 40 - 50s - 2000s rock and would like to play stuff that's not super complicated, but I'm open to all styles and can play along to just about anything.
