Mad Science is looking for awesome camp instructors • Make a Difference in a kid’s life and inspire the next generation of scientists • Ignite a child’s curiosity with the wonders of science • Get paid while having a blast leading cool science demonstrations and experiments As a Mad Scientist, you’ll lead fun, inquiry-based programs with elementary school children, while nurturing a child’s interest in science… And, you’ll have a BLAST while you’re at it! Mad Science is the world's leading provider of spectacular hands-on science programs for children. We are currently looking for energetic individuals to conduct our enrichment programs throughout King and Snohomish County. Opportunities Available: Summer Camp Instructors Inspire the next generation of scientists through our innovative hands-on activities that show children what science is really all about. Become a hero in their eyes, as you guide them through exciting inquiry-based science activities and demonstrations. Each day, our Mad Science camp instructors will present a fun half-day or full-day summer camp to approximately 12 elementary grade students. Summer camps meet Monday-Friday all summer long at multiple locations throughout the greater Seattle area. After School Instructors We still have a few weeks left in our spring sessions and we’d love to have you join our team. We also have occasional in-class field-trips which are also a blast. Instructors must: • Enjoy and have experience working with groups of children • Have a valid driver’s license and dependable car to get to camp/school locations • Be curious, a lil wacky and never boring • Have a fun and outgoing personality while being responsible and dependable A background in science is nice but not essential as we provide paid training. Work just for the summer or stay on for the school year. UW and Bellevue College students, and school teachers are encouraged to apply.
