Description

Crosby, Stills & Nash 60’s 70’s harmony based folk rock duo or trio Looking for complementary player/s (2nd guitar, bass or multi instrumentalist) with ability to sing lead vocals or harmonies very comfortably. Sing and play a must … good harmonies that blend well are key. I (young 60’s) have been playing solo/duo for many years … just moved to town a few months ago from Raleigh. Looking for players in Leland Southport Supply areas. Focus on private parties, festivals and good restaurants/venues that welcome duo/trios. No late night bar gigs … play out a couple of times a month or as band agrees going forward. I play open tunings in DADGAG, drop D, drop double D, open G and most of the regular songs down 1/2 step in Eb. When you mix that with complimentary 2nd guitar playing capo it fills a nice musical space. Must be able to read chord charts and compliment the songs - solo or fills and add a nice harmonies as needed. Looking to pull off songs like … Suite Judy Blue Eyes, Carry On (Deja Vu or 4 Way Street) or artists like Neil young, Jackson Browne, Loggins & Messina, Poco, The Band, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, Eagles and more. Soft rock folk rock classics. Good relaxed attitude, fun project but like to do a quality show or be one of the top acoustic acts in the area in no time. Wow people with the best of the soft rock era and take them on a musical journey with songs they love to sing a long to. Mix up the standard covers with the B sides or your favorites. Please send video, YouTube, song list and tell me a little about your music background and last time you played out and if this is in your wheelhouse. Looking for seasoned players with this type of background who can hit the ground running. It’s hard to find the right musical fit but sometimes the song fits like a glove and well blending harmonies can be awesome. It’s all about good quality entertainment, making a little money on the side and musical friendships. I know this is a tall order but also there is a great pool of talented musicians in the area. Thanks for checking it out. Peace!
