Description
Dog Holiday is one of the coolest little doggies to have ever gotten along. He loves trailer rides, helping in the garden, protecting his people and keeping an eye out for no good bandits. He showed up one day after weeks on the trail. He was injured, skin and bones and spooked easier than an un-broke horse. We nursed him back to health, fattened him up, gave him dewormer and flea and tick treatments and even got him neutered. Now that he has a clean bill of health we'd like to find him a herd of his own. Unfortunately we have too many cowboys and not enough saddles here to make room for dear ol' Dog Holiday. Due to his abusive past he's quite afraid of the kids and would do best in a home with no children under ten. He needs a fenced in yard or a place with lots of room to run. He has been around all kinds of livestock, cats and other dogs and does well with them, especially female dogs and playful kitties. He is guessed about 14 months old, a hound mix and seems to have no lasting issues from his rough start in life. If he wasn't so miserable when the kids were around we'd keep him but he does not thrive around young ones. All we want for Dog is plenty of good boys, a warm bed to sleep in, a full belly and someone who enjoys the occasional game of tug-o-war or fetch. Small rehoming fee applies to ensure the Best Puppy Cowboy gets the best family ever!
