Sewing Badge $80.00 Materials Fee $5 June 11 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own zippered bag? We’ll be using the material on hand to make a simple zippered bag. You’ll learn how to use the serger to sew and cut seams at the same time. You’ll get up to speed on our Juki industrial sewing machine and cover serger basics in this introductory workshop. What you’ll learn: Attendees will learn how to identify machine components, thread needles, adjust stitch settings, change or replace bobbins, apply relevant terminology, troubleshoot and gather simple ideas for new sewing projects. Please note: This certification is an overview of sewing machine usage and does not cover design-related instruction. *No prior sewing machine knowledge is required.
