2 Year Old Cats - together or separate

I have two two year old cats. One is a red tabby ragdoll mix, spayed female. The other is a longhair muted torty, spayed female. They get along but aren't best friends so can be separated. I sadly have to let them go because I just had a baby and the father is allergic. Both are great cats!
