John Scofield (g) + Tom Kennedy (b) Basically we prefer to find guitarist and bassist that are going, living and working in NY, able to play with others twice a week at out music rehearsal room. Must be skillful and own some major pedals (for both bass and guitar). Purist/Clean sound only musicians aren't for us, same goes to those searching for Hired Gun/Session Musician gigs. Do we aiming to find educated it self-taught? Well, you don't have to go to school to learn music theory, but without music theory you'll be lost and never found on this board. It's not that our music is complicated,oh no, not at all, it's just chords that we use and progressions require basic music theory and jazz under your belt. In general we sound like mix if Pop Jazz, Funk and Indie Rock. Lots of leads to play, both in bass and guitar, so you better have that leading personality in you.
