Wanted: Female Bassist / Background Vocals We're looking for a female bass player to join our band. Someone who can sing background vocals. If you sing lead vocals, you’ll be able to sing lead on some songs, as well, if you’d like. We do not play songs note for note. We don’t play songs exactly like the record and we add a high gain guitar sound. We’re more of a punk/metal pop sounding band than your typical classic rock band. About us: We are a male lead guitarist/lead vocalist and a female drummer. We play classic rock. We are much older than 40! We’re fun! Fully vaccinated and non-smokers. About you: Available to rehearse on Saturdays and do gigs. Comfortable playing with older musicians. Easy to get along with. Fully vaccinated. Non-smoker. You live in Culver City or surrounding area. We are currently playing in a small section of our garage (with the garage door open) until our new band room is ready. If the opportunity arises again, we’ll open for friends’ bands. We will, when ready, apply to play a set at a local venue. When we have enough songs, we we will find our own gigs. Please be able to rehearse on Saturdays and again once during the week if we have a gig coming up. You must have your Saturdays open. We can move the rehearsal to Friday or Sunday if you have a special event on Saturday, i.e. a wedding or a memorial. If we still interest you, drop us a line!
