This Green Schools Teacher Workshop will go through the steps of beginning a recycling program at your schoolOver the 3-hour workshop we will:TALK ABOUT THE DIFFERENT WASTE STREAMS IN SCHOOLSDISCUSS HOW TO FORM A GREEN TEAMHOW TO CONDUCT A WASTE AUDITIDENTIFYING HAULERSCHOOSING WHAT ITEMS TO COLLECTDEVELOPING A COLLECTION SYSTEMEDUCATING YOUR SCHOOL COMMUNITYMONITORING SUCCESSCOMMON OBSTACLESEach attendee will receive a printed copy of the Project Learning Tree GreenSchools Investigations and other helpful resources to get your started.
