Dog Washer / Junior Groomer Benji’s Dog Grooming is looking for an assistant / bather to help us and we also will be providing training to become a Licensed Dog Groomer. Looking for full time help; Shop is open 7 days a week 9-5. Love of dogs and desire to work in a fun team environment is a must! Pay: $14-$19 / hour based on level of experience with ability to make tips; flexible pay plan available! Responsibilities: Washing, brushing and drying of dogs DeMatting Nail Trimming Cleaning Ears Answering phones and book appointments as well as handle payments Qualifications: 1-2 years work experience is required, experience in dog grooming is appreciated Able lift dogs up to 90 pounds Calm presence, able to handle anxious dogs Ability to stand on your feet for a full shift Ability to read, write and speak English as well as strong interpersonal skills Applicants please send resume (preferred) if you have one or a phone number where we can reach you and any relevant work history especially in grooming and bathing
