My name is Sabrina Bethel. I am the CEO and founder of Life After Dialysis. A non profit organization that supports the dialysis and kidney transplant community. In 2001, I found myself in a very precarious situation. I was battling a critical illness and develop kidney failure. I became dependent upon tri-weekly hemodialysis for my survival. Through the grace of God and excellent medical care, in 2009 I I received a kidney transplant and no longer needed to rely on hemodialysis.
