Update: Route 15 In New Haven Cleared

NEW HAVEN, CT — The right lane of Route 15 that was closed this morning in New Haven is now open, alleviating a potential traffic problem for Saturday motorists. According to the state Department of Transportation, the closure was a result of some necessary, emergency maintenance work. According to the DOT's Twitter feed, however, that work was complete and normal roadway operations resumed at about 10:16 a.m. The situation was on the northbound side of the state highway, between exits 58 and 59, according to the DOT.
