MILFORD, CT — There is still time to adopt a rubber duck in time for the United Way's Milford Harbor Duck Race, which will be held June 4 at 3:30 p.m. Duck adoptions cost $5 each and there are a total of 10,000 ducks available for purchase. All adopted ducks are dropped into the Wepawaug River between the library and SBC restaurant. The ducks travel about 100 meters before entering the finishing chute. Prizes are awarded in the order ducks finish. Winners don't need to be present to win. Those who adopt a duck are given a raffle ticket. This year's featured prizes are a 65-inch TV, Apple iPad, Apple Watch, Apple AirPods and a kayak. More information here, including raffle form.
