Description

The wastewater plant receives and treats roughly 20 million gallons of wastewater a day. Walk the plant with a licensed wastewater operator as he does his walk-through to ensure the plant is working properly no matter what comes down the pipe. The plant is staffed with operators 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is responsible for preventing over 8 million pounds of pollution from entering Casco Bay each year.
