Press release from Albuquerque Public Schools: June 1, 2022 Most APS students will start the 2022-2023 school year on Wednesday, Aug. 10, with teachers and school staff starting a week earlier on Aug. 3. The last day of school is scheduled for May 25. The 29 elementary schools on an extended-year calendar will start on Thursday, Aug. 4, with teachers and school staff reporting on Thursday, July 28. The last day of school for schools on an extended calendar is June 1.
