Description
WESTFIELD, NJ —Westfield will raise the pride flag at Town Hall, in celebration of Pride Month and to support members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The flag-raising will be held on Thursday, June 9, at 5 p.m.
Locals will then walk to the rainbow crosswalks with participating middle and high school students, and gather for a photo "as we have done the past few years to celebrate the inclusive spirit of Westfield," said Mayor Shelley Brindle.
Brindle also thanked Judy and Jeffrey Rust for donating Pride flags to distribute to all participants walking from Town Hall to the rainbow crosswalks.
