PHOENIXVILLE PA — Phoenixville police arrested suspects on burglary, public drunkeness, and drunken driving and drug charges from May 15 to 29. Joseph Hoffman, 50, of Reinholds, remains free on $15,000 bail on charges of burglary and receiving stolen property and possessing illegal drugs. Police said Hoffman entered buildings in the 300 block of Foundry Street and removed items. Blake Gerhard, 31, of Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, is free on 1,000 bail on charges of drunken driving and traffic offenses. The legal blood-alcohol limit to drive a vehicle in Pennsylvania is 0.08%A 43-year-old male of Phoenixville was arrested May 16 for Public Drunkenness after passing out in the unit block of Main Street.A 48-year-old female of New Holland, Lancaster County, was arrested on May 28 for public drunkenness when she was found staggering in the 200 block of Bridge Street.A 53-year-old Pottstown man was arrested on May 15 for possessing drugs.
